  • Sharp knife

While cutting the edge of the cigar, do remember to leave around 3mm of the cap. Ensure to cut the edge quickly and smoothly, or else it will damage the leaves on the cigar. 

Ways to Light a Cigar: 

You should be careful, while lighting a cigar. The first and the foremost thing is to light them in the proper manner and ensure to use properly till the end. The lighting of the cigar should be smoothly done.  

 The cigar should be cut horizontally and then light the flame at its end. Make sure that you use an odorless lighter, and refrain from using a petrol one. While you are lighting the cigar, make sure that you keep rotating its end, so the end is charred uniformly.  

After the cigar is lighted, you can blow softly on the end, which will light it. This process is quite important to light the cigar properly.

Slowly move the Cohiba cigars on the flame of the lighter, which will ensure that it is evenly lit. Also, make sure that your lips are not touch the cigar. You could hold it with your teeth, in case it is too hot to burn your lips.

Once the cigar is lit, make sure that you allow the smoke to blow around your mouth.

Do not puff in the cigar, like a cigarette. This will overheat them.

While purchasing a cigar make sure that it is made up of 100% tobacco

The next step is to touch it gently and check if there is any lump on the cigar. A perfect cigar will be always smooth and straight, without any lump formation.

Checking the end of the tobacco is also important. This is to ensure that there is no discoloration due to outdated and improper tobacco.
